"Down at the riverside"

BBQ, games, prizes, and remembering old friends and other classmates - what could be more fun!  The game plan for this was to gather down at the picnic area of the marina by about 11:00 AM for a pot-luck picnic & grill.  Ivan Dike, known by his friends & family as the "Barbeque King" brought in the grill, and we all chipped in $5 to help cover the cost of meat & refreshments (however, it was BYOB if you wanted the alcoholic kind).  In addition, we asked everyone to bring a dish to add to the pile. 

After lunch, we had some games for the kids, both young & adult.  There was a "Class of '83" trivia game put together with the class assignments we did for Mrs. Glenn 20 years ago, and current information on classmates, but the answers were held until that evening.

Thanks to Ivan Dike & his wife Kelie for putting together the BBQ, Robin (Haws) Gale for coordinating the potluck, Kelly (Putman) White for organizing the games, Scott Piper for bringing his yearbooks, and Robb Peck for getting the space and putting together the trivia challenge.
