Classmate Update

After I left Boardman I moved to Oceanside Ca.   I attended Palomar C.C.  During that time I worked for a outside contractor to the Oceanside Police dept. in public relations. I met a Marine and we were married.  He was transferred to Camp Lejune N.C.  While in North Carolina I was a key wife for his unit.  That consisted of helping new and lower ranking wives cope with military lives whiles there husbands were gone for extended periods of time.
After he got out of the  Marine Corps. we moved to Texas.  That's where I got interested in the transportation business.  It started out with me being a manager of a truck stop.  I learned about trucks and decided to go to truck driving school.  After driving for a couple of years I started to purchase my own power units.  Right now I own 5 tractors and have 4 drivers working for me and I drive one those myself.  Just a paid tourist is what I call myself.
During the last 4 years I have been very lucky in the travel department, with business associates and friends I've been able to travel to other countries.  Had the pleasure of seeing:  Japan, Denmark, Canada, Mexico and Honduras.  Very beautiful places.  But was always glad to come home.
Now I am living in Joplin Missouri. I'm attending Missouri Southern as a part time student and taking foreign studies. Am divorced with no children.  Do have my share of cats.  My mother takes care of them for me while I'm gone and they are spoiled rotten.  If you would like to e-mail me my addy is cottoncandy65@webtv.net.  It may take me a little while to answer I am quite busy.  Hope to see you all at the reunion.  TTFN.
