Baker:
I married Dale Baker, who is also a long time resident of
Boardman. Dale and I never left Boardman and so far do not regret it.
We have been married 17 years and have three children. Zach 15, Andrew
14, and Danielle 12. We are very busy with school and other activities.
I work at the middle school in Irrigon as an aide, and I am a part-time
student at BMCC. I have had a lot of fun getting to know the teachers we had
in school as fellow workers, and getting to know the children of people I went
to school with.
Risė (Line) Ficken:
Hello to
everyone from sunny South Dakota! So glad to see I am not the only one getting
older - or is that better? About four years after graduation I moved to
Dallas, Texas. I lived in Texas for seven years where I worked as a legal
secretary, acquired a serious addiction to Mexican food, met and married my
second husband, Bill, and had a strapping boy named Cody who is now eight
years old.
Tim Jimenez: After high school I attended college for a
couple of years. In 1985 I join the Navy where I completed a couple cruises in
Mediterranean and one of the Caribbean. After returning from the military my
wife Renee and I were married in 1990. We have two beautiful daughters Brianna
(7) and Gabrielle (3). My wife Renee owns and operates a preschool in Corbett,
Oregon where we currently live. I am a distribution manager for a printing
company in Portland. My children of course consume my time, however I would
love to here from others from Riverside High. I can be reached at
jimenez1990@cs.com.
Marty Broadbent: I'm still
single, and have been living in Boardman for the past 8 years. I lived in
Portland after high school, and went to college. Presently I am employed at
the Port of Morrow. I am also a member of the Boardman Fire Department.
As a captain, I am involved in training and am the officer in charge of 28
members. I enjoy going to the large wildland fires through out the
state. At the Ukiah-Burnt Bridge fire this summer, I ran into Robb's mom
who lived there.
Terry & Anneli (Murray) Secl: Well, Anneli and I have 3 daughters: Brianna-14, Tahnee-12 and Mckinley 10. Teenage years ughhh!! We have a great time together. We bought property in Irrigon Oregon about 10 years ago and have lived here since. We live on 2 1/2 acres. We have recently bought property in Richland, Washington. We are building a house over there and plan to move some time in March when completed. We have owned our own business for the past 6 years or so. I work with vegetable seeds and also do research for a Japan company. We recently sold our business and now I only do research on new onion varieties for the United States. We have contracted with a Japanese firm to do this. Its been very busy but rewarding. I do travel a lot but only during peak seasons. Look
forward too seeing everyone.

Scott Piper:
After graduation I headed for Cedarville
College in Ohio. I receive my B.A. (not to be confused with BO) and met a young
lady I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I graduated from college in
'87 and worked as an assistant manager for a food service company in Nyack New
York for one school year. Then Julie and I got married in 1988 after she
graduated with a nursing degree and became an RN. Next, we loaded up all our
worldly possessions (they fit in a Chevy Celebrity) and moved across country to
Tacoma, Washington (not my recommendation for a honeymoon). Julie started
working at St Joseph's hospital in the Cancer unit and I hit the books again
working on my masters degree in theology. I crammed a 3 year program into 4 and
ended up with a Master Divinity in 1992. Before Graduating we moved to Everett,
WA where I served as an Assistant Pastor for four years. I also began driving
specialty buses to help pay the bills. I ended up going full time with this bus
company and wound up as a supervisor until I left to become a senior pastor here
in Idaho. While we were in the Puget Sound area we were blessed with the safe
arrival of Emily (9) Abigail (8) and Hannah (6). In 1998 I accepted my first
Senior Pastorate here in Kuna, Idaho. Since moving to Idaho Julie and I have
been blessed with Sarah (4) Grace (a breach baby born at home - I got to deliver
her and she is an energetic 2 year old) and Amy (3 months) Julie and I have
been married 14 years and never have a dull moment with 6 girls, Two Cocker
Spaniels, 6 puppies, two pigmy goats and a congregation to care for.
Ivan Dike: Hey
guys, what's up? It was good to read all of your notes on the bulletin board.
After graduation, I have only seen a few of you, and it sounds like everyone has
done well for themselves. As for myself, about a year after graduation, April '
84, I went into the Air Force and served 4 years. I got married in ' 87 while
I was in stationed in Germany. I got out April ' 88 and divorced shortly after
getting out,' 89 to be exact. That's ok because I got a beautiful daughter from
that marriage. Her name is Jacklyn Lynnae, and she is 14 now. After my
divorce, in ' 91 I moved from Indianapolis Ind. to Irrigon. I got a job driving
trucks cross country. in ' 93 I went to work for a fertilizer company as a
driver then moved into the shop as a mechanic. In August of ' 95 I got
remarried and have been with my wife since. Her name is Kelie. She is from the
Hermiston class of ' 87. She had 2 kids from a previous marriage. Their ages
now are, Heather is 15 and Caleb is 12. We have had 3 children together, Zane
is 8, Austin is 6 and our last is Bailey is 4. We have a total of 6 kids all
together and there's never a dull moment around our place. In fact I can't even
pull my hair out because its almost all gone. We have the nick name of the
Brady bunch {3 boys and 3 girls} around here. In my spare time I enjoy taking
my racecar to the track and going around in circle. Its relaxing and FUN!!
Oct. of ' 95, I went to work for the Union Pacific as a machinist and have been
there every since. In August of ' 02 I became a supervisor and I really enjoy
the challenge. I'm glad that Rob got a hold of me about the reunion because I
really wasn't interested in the reunion. I just figured that I wasn't good
enough to be invited to the 10 year reunion, why should I be Interested in the
20 year reunion. Probably the wrong way to think, but that's the way that I
felt. After talking to Rob for a few minutes and getting the web sight from him
and reading everyone's stories, I think that it will be fun and I'm looking
forward to seeing everyone there. God Bless everyone and Hopefully see you all
in Aug.
Earl Connell: A
few years after I graduated, I joined the Army and was stationed in Germany for
over 7 years. I went to Desert Storm and was one of the first 300 in Kuwait. I
was then transferred to Fort Lewis, Washington, where I married a girl who also
graduated from Riverside. We have 2 children: Cody 11, Jordan 9. I was
transferred to Kansas City MO, for almost 4 years. Now I am a Oregon State
Trooper and am stationed in Arlington (out of all places).
Marie Solomon:
Hello Folks, contact made. I am currently at Indian Head Maryland. I
have spent the last 19 years in the Navy - bouncing back and forth from East
coast to West Coast. From Florida to Guam. In 1987 I got married and now
have two kids - a boy (Oliver - 4) and girl (Jennifer - 2). At this
stage I have no idea if I can make it to the reunion. I am the only
Medical Laboratory Tech here at Branch Medical Clinic Indian Head. That
makes it hard to find coverage so I can get some time off.
Lisa High: I stumbled onto the classmates website and was surprised to see so many people. My name is Lisa High and I noticed the no one knew were I was. I've lived in Yakima for about 17 years now. I was married and divorced and I have 2 boys, 19 and 13. My brother, Mark, passed away July 15th 2001 here in Yakima. When is the next reunion? I would love to go to it.
